My Story

  I must admit, my personal journey to Christ, had beginnings (as a lot of “head-saved’ rather than “heart-saved”  Christians) in the fear of having to live through the “end times” events depicted in books, movies (such as the popular “Left Behind” series) and even pulpit teachings…. "Repent and accept Christ as your Savior today – or die and go to Hell"! AND if you don’t die before the world ends, you will suffer horrible pains because only the “saved” believers will be “raptured” out of tribulations.  After resisting feelings of conviction as long as I could, I finally accepted salvation through Jesus Christ. I wanted then to learn as much as I could about the Bible. I began to watch some “Christian TV channels “-to learn all I could about God’s plan for mankind.  And, as God would have it, channel-surfing one day I came across a non-denominational pastor answering questions from viewers -(a new concept?).  I began to listen daily to his verse-by-verse bible teachings and, after praying to the Father for wisdom, I soon discovered my “eyes to see and ears to hear”.  Quickly realizing how I had been misled about many things through traditional biblical teachings- I began to actually read God's word for myself! I purchased a Strong's Concordance for Hebrew and Greek definitions and began to read chapters with the "subject" of the verses in mind -instead of verses taken out of context.  Then I began to understand God’s plan for mankind and came into real Bible "meat" instead of the "milk" I had been feed in church. Now, after some years of daily teaching from the Shepherd’s Chapel, I have been Blessed with 3rd level mentoring from a now Dear Friend- truly an elect of God! After realizing I had been mislead about many Bible topics, I began to question “the Rapture” theory also...  and Wondered -does one put on the "Gospel Armour" to fly or Put on the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.   (Ephesians 6:11) . No, God wants his children to "stand" against Satan! 

 My conclusions on the "Rapture" are: 

   satan will come before Jesus Christ's return and will deceive many as he will pretend to be    Christ.  Pre-Trib "rapture" teachings actually help satan in this deception- pretending to be Christ.     We "all" who are alive at the "true" Christ's second coming will be "changed" into our spiritual bodies at the "last" trump sound (I Corinthians 15).  

   This event will NOT happen until after Satan is here on earth claiming to be God (II Thessalonians 15).   No man knows when this will occur, but Jesus gave us signs of the coming tribulations (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Revelation).  Note: emphasis on the "no man knows" part)  

   Don't let man's traditions of Pre-tribulation Rapture, or anything else, deceive you into following satan  hinking he is Jesus Christ! 

Don't take any man's word on faith...put your faith in your Father... You alone will face God's judgment seat- not your Bible teacher....READ the Word for yourself !  Whenever Jesus Christ returns, be ready...be faithful...and watch!

32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. God intends for you to READ his letter to you (the BIBLE) so you won't be deceived! AND DO NOT be a part of the Apostasy during the Tribulation Period!  No matter when Christ returns, if you truly have a heart-filled love for our Father you'll be OK- so don't get anxious to "fly away"- God looks out for his own that love him!  Read his letter to you for yourself !
